With the death of my father at a young age, it hit me very hard that our lives can end in just a fraction of a second. It is an experience where words just can’t express the pain that you go through. However, deep within that experience there lay a lesson. A lesson for which I thank my father very deeply.
Make every minute count. Because you simply do not have as many of them as you might think.
You’ve been given a book with empty pages – a life. You are currently writing an original story. One that has never been told, and one that never will be told again. You should be damn proud of being given this opportunity to do that. You should be very proud. Yet so many people don’t. They waste their time, waiting, and ultimately run out of pages to write their story on.
Don’t be like that! You have the pen in your hands. And at any given moment, you can make a turning point in your story, you can start a new chapter. It literally, is all in your hands.
In the end, it’s the story that we write that will be remembered and passed on. But understand, the time that we have been given to write it, is unknown.
