4 Powerful Resources that can Change your Life
There are 4 resources out there in the world – accessible to everyone for a ridiculously small amount of money – which if combined and used properly, are the most powerful tools available.
They enable you to create and make your dreams a reality, while allowing you to become that person – that better, more complete, more fulfilled person you would love to be.
Yet despite being out there and easily accessible, not everyone seems to be aware of them, or perhaps it’s more realistic to say – not everyone seems to be aware of the power they contain.
So what I have done is gathered these 4 resources, and put them together in one complete package. From them, you can obtain the knowledge and wisdom to help you in ANY field from business interests to your personal issues and dilemmas.
Please understand one thing however; being able to accomplish whatever it is you are striving for needs two things to happen.
Firstly you need to know how to do it, and secondly, it takes MASSIVE action to put that knowledge into practice. Having the information, knowing the wisdom alone is of no use if you do not take action upon that wisdom.
Having that said, without further ado, here they are:
Now who doesn’t know Google? Even my grandma who doesn’t even have a computer knows what it is.
It’s the most powerful search engine in the world – and all its wisdom and knowledge are just one fingertip away from you. It’s mind boggling.
Google is the key foundation to this information age, where you can literally search and find absolutely anything.
Think of Google as your ultimate servant for information.
Learn to develop the right skills, and how to ask it the right questions, as its power – and the amount of benefit you can get out of it – totally depends on your ability to search through the immense amount of information and unearth the hidden gem you are looking for.
Once you do, anything and everything you want to learn or find is opened up for you with one mouse click. Use Google as your starting point, not only in your quest to fulfil your dreams but also in finding the next components in this list.
Do you know how many books there are in the world? According to Google, there are 129,864,880. Heck, by the time I’ve finished this sentence it will have increased.
Now, it isn’t all about the number count, but it just shows that whichever area you are trying to improve on, trying to learn – at least one book will have been written about it.
I have read books that have had a life-changing impact on me.
These have been about both self-development and business, and have been written by world famous and highly intelligent people, experts in their field.
And all for the almost ridiculous price of around $10 /€13.
E V E R Y O N E can afford this, everyone has the ability to go and tap into the minds of those people.
And if you do not like reading, no worries, many of these books today have an audio version available which you can listen to while driving, walking, or sitting on the train.
Let me throw in three tips to help you with this further.
- When searching for a book, don’t just look for any book, look for the highest rated book in the area in which you are interested. A book is a commitment of your time, so at least make that commitment on one that is worthy of it.
- Also don’t buy a hundred different books on the same topic, it is better to read the highest ranked book a hundred times.
- When you have found the right book, buy a flashy yellow (or whichever color you prefer, pink?) marker and highlight the most important points of interest. This will allow you to flip through it again and locate and reread those phrases instantly. If you want to take it even further, once I’ve finished a book I write a report about it on a Word document containing all those points of interests. This gives me an even quicker way of tapping into that wisdom again, as I can easily open the document on my phone.
You might have heard about podcasts, you might not. Either way, podcasts are digital audio shows. There are literally thousands of them available, on any subject you can think of.
Just as an example:
The Tim Ferris Show, London Real, and The School of Greatness are three podcasts I follow where they interview top world performers – deconstructing them, digging into their habits, their past, their tools and their minds.
And you know the most insane thing about it all?
Podcasts are completely free to listen to.
Yes, that is right. Whichever area you are looking to develop your skills deeper in, use your servant – Google, and search for the top 5 podcasts about …. fill in the blank.
They are incredible and can easily be downloaded onto your phone using the ITunes Store or Google Play giving you the possibility of tapping into their wisdom anytime, anywhere.
4. Inspiring People
You are the combination of the 5 people you spend the most time with.
Put another way, the people you spend the most time with, are the ones who will Influence your behaviour, your thinking and the way you function and perform in this world and in your life.
It’s crucial to be aware of this. Do those around you lift you up, or drag you down? Do they push you forward or do they hold you back? Are you in line with the same thoughts, the same vision upon life, or not?
It’s extremely important to take notice of this as this is a huge part of the person you end up being and becoming.
Using all of the above, find 3-5 inspiring people you look up to and start surrounding yourself with them.
Connect with them on social media and start consuming and absorbing more and more of the information they give out.
Doing this will not only trigger a positive influence within you, but will give you the motivation you need for what you are focusing on. It will also increase your knowledge and insight into that topic enormously.
Let yourself be lifted up by people who are, or have been, at the very top of their game. They are out there – waiting for you, in all manner of formats and platforms.
